Sunday Study

Join us as we explore our Christian faith and seek to understand how we may carry out God's will in our lives through looking at contemporary readings, Holy Scripture and other resources to help us encounter God in our community.

We meet on Sundays in the Parish Hall, from September to May, to wrestle together with the way that God calls each of us, as well as our whole congregation, to serve Christ in this setting and around the world.

Our Current Study:

Join our Lenten Study! We will be viewing a video study from Saint George’s College in Jerusalem followed by discussion.

Sundays at 9:30 between services in the Parish Hall.

If you have ideas about topics or people you’d like to discuss, let us know! You can email the office at office@smecp.org or talk with Rev. Karen.

Worship Leader Training

If you are interested in how you can help during our church services by serving behind the communion rail, this ministry is for you! Periodic trainings are held for Intercessors and Chalice Ministers throughout the year.

Baptism and Confirmation

Are you interested in being Baptized or Confirmed in the Episcopal Church? We’d love to be part of your journey!

Baptism is one of the two great sacraments of the Gospel (the other is the Eucharist we celebrate on Sundays). It is the sacrament by which God adopts us as his children and makes us Members of Christ’s Body, the Church. If you have never been Baptized, our Priest would be most happy to help you prepare.

Confirmation is a rite in which we express a mature commitment to Christ. If you’d like to be confirmed in the Episcopal Church, or if you’ve already been confirmed elsewhere and would like to be received formally by our Bishop, let our Priest know! We can help prepare you in time for the next visit from our Bishop.
